    T-Shirt Quilts Claire has lots of T-shirts from her high school years. They are all quite meaningful. But then most of the shirts were not super comfortable to wear, some are also getting smaller. In order to preserve the memory, I had been thinking about making quilt(s) and hopefully she can keep them forever. My biggest obstacle is the lack of ability to sew with a sewing machine (I am going to learn, practice and master it!), and thankfully my mom is pretty good at it.     Pull Apart Bread

    Pull Apart Bread 手撕面包 This pull apart bread recipe is a keeper. It’s very moist and soft. It can adapt to many different types of topping. Here we have bacon chive and cheese with ranch dressing, and buffalo chicken with blue cheese. Since they are savory, I used 15g of sugar in the bread instead of 30g. Here is a more Asian version with Pork Fu and Spring Onion. The dough is somewhat soft and sticky, lightly oil the hands will make handling much easier.     Mung Bean Cake

    Mung Bean Cake 绿豆糕 I use 50g Moon Cake Molds. Spay the mold with oil for easier release. For the Mung Bean Cake with Red Bean Paste, take 25g of Mung Bean Paste and roll into a ball, press to flatten the paste. Weigh 10g of Red Bean Paste and form a smaller ball. Wrap the red bean paste with mung bean paste. Place the paste in the Moon Cake Mold and press firmly for 15 seconds. Release the shaped Mung Bean Cake onto a plate.
