    Savory Zucchini Bread with Bacon Cheese and Herb I remember eating zucchini bread for the first time twenty some years ago. It had a very interesting texture, dense, yet soft. I have been trying to look for that bread again with no success. Here is my attempt at making one myself. This one is for the savory quick bread lovers, and it’s my original recipe.     Almond Flour Shortbread

      Almond Flour Shortbread Ingredients: 112 g of Almond Flour (about 1 cup) 3 Tsp of butter, room temperature, soft enough to mix with flour, but do not melt butter 2 Tsp of confectioner’s sugar 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract Directions: Mix flour, butter and sugar Make 12 balls (about 14g each). I made a thumbprint cookie so that I can fill in the lime curd I made yesterday 350 F, bake for 8 minutes, then fill in the curd, and jam (fig preserve in the picture) of your liking, bake for another 2 minutes Let cool completely before handling

    Lime Curd

    Lime Curd This lime curd is easy to make. It’s tangy, sweet, silky (straining egg and other liquid ingredients help!), and simply delicious. You can eat it plain, or spread on toast, or as filling for thumbprint cookies like this one, or cheesecake. Ingredients: 3 Tsp Butter 2/3 Cup Sugar 2 eggs beaten, run through strainer 5 limes, juice Lime zest from 1 lime (optional) Directions: Over double boiler, melt butter and sugar, stir in lime juice and lime zest Add couple tablespoon of butter lime mixture into the egg mixture to raise the temperature Slowly add egg mixture into butter lime mixture, stir continuously for about 25 minutes till…
